As of January 2022, I am the administrator for the Centre for New and International Writing at the University of Liverpool. I am a GTA for undergraduate students in English Literature.

My PhD is supervised by Dr. Simon Marsden and Dr. Matthew Bradley. Its working title is 'Representations of the Textile Industry in Nineteenth-Century Fiction and Poetry.' My research explores gender relations and exploited labour in the international trade of textiles in the Victorian era, focusing on French Revolution novels, Utopian and Dystopian novels, Industrial fiction and poetry and the Gothic short story.
